1. What kind of church is OVCC?
Ojai Valley Community Church is a non-denominational Christian Church where everyone is welcome. Join us if you'd like, as we try to be better human beings, trying to make the world a better place, reaching out a helping hand just as Jesus reached out to us. To find out more please visit the About Us page.
2. What is the worship service like?
Our worship service includes fellowship, music, and a time of teaching. Our music is a mixture of new music and traditional hymns, and our pastor teaches every week from the Bible.
We are located at the corner of Loma Drive and El Centro Street, ¼ mile North of Ventura Avenue (aka Hwy 33 / 150). Our address is 907 El Centro Street, Ojai. Visit the Directions page for specific driving instructions from Google Maps.
4. When does Sunday service begin?
Sunday service begins at 10:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. Please take some time to meet someone new, fellowship, and prepare your heart and mind for the message. Services usually lasts about 90 minutes.
5. What is the appropriate attire?
The atmosphere at OVCC is casual and comfortable. Many of us will be wearing jeans, including our pastors, so feel free to dress in the way that is most comfortable for you.
Absolutely! Pastor Paul loves to meet new people. So please introduce yourself when you arrive or stay after the service for a few minutes and say hello.
We have activities for children during the Sunday service and look forward to our monthly family gatherings. When Sunday service begins, children and parent leaders are dismissed to the Promiseland classrooms located adjacent to the main sanctuary. See the Ministries page for more information about our children's ministries.
